Mood:
I started out the day frustrated. Then I disappointed & now just full & content like a cat. I have coffee milk & all is almost right with the world tonight.

Life:
I started the day trying to get the funding for my schooling. Only to find that the school was closed for the holiday. I will be getting up early to try one more time. (Sigh) I then decided to work off the frustration of it by going to the gym & swimming. Ya, well, ah.... They were having a class & all the screaming little ones & the pack of mothers to the side was too much for me. I drove home & got a big surprise from my father-in-law, he sent a gift for us & I am so thankful. Clay called him to thank him while I cooked dinner. I am going to watch the Eclipse movie & drink my coffee milk, (go a head & say it you know you want to.) I am just hoping that everything goes right tomorrow. I so do not want to have to try to find a job for a semester only to have to give it up when the next one come around. I don't know what I will do.

I am thinking of dying my hair. I have always wanted blue hair. I want you to let me know which style you like the best.
I am leaning toward this one.
I am a red head naturally.

Ok, so this one is maybe wishful thinking but a girl can dream. LOL!

Cooking:
For breakfast I made Malt-o-meal with milk & crazins.
  • 1c water
  • 3TB  Malt-o-meal
  • Salt to taste
You boil the water & stir the Malt-o-meal in slowly till think. Cook for about 2mins stirring. Place in a bowl. I then pour 1/4c milk in & 1/2c -1c of crazins.
Yum!

I found a great cooking wine. Middle sister is a red table wine & its not too dry & is kinda sweet. I made spaghetti sauce & I degaussed the pan with it after I sauteed the onions in olive oil. I cooked two stakes in a medium frying pan with the onions. I took out the stakes & covered with tinfoil to rest. I then poured in 1/4c of the wine & stirred to get all the bits off the bottom for a min or two on med, I sliced carrots in small rounds. I then tossed them in the frying pan & covered for 5mins. I then stirred the carrots & covered again for 5mins till the carrots were just soft. I took off the heat. I served it with a salad & sweet potatoes mashed. Simple but really tasty. Clay had two large helpings.
