We walked 5blooks to the market & at lest this time it was kinda not freezing. After lunch it was nice to walk off the cheese burger & fries. :D I did forget my leftovers with Mom. LOL! I do that all the time. It was this really good broccoli salad too.
I am trying to avoid my homework. I am done with it for the most part, I just have to do a quiz for my XHTML class. I just really dont want to do it. I have this feeling like I am going to fail it. I know that I should just take it & I will be fine, but its becoming something I do after I have done the rest of my homework & thats just not like me. (Sigh, I know, I know. Its part of being an adult right.)
What I made for dinner tonight :
Bison Goulash
Ingredients
1 pound Ground Bison meat
2 large Onions | |
1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
1 bag Elbow macaroni | |
1 ½ cup water +3TB | |
2 teaspoon northern bonfire spice (Really smells like a bonfire, taste great too!)
1/4 teaspoon Pepper | |
1 teaspoon corn starch |
Preparation
Sauté bison, 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes and 2 onions in large frying pan then drain excess fat. Lots of onions really makes this good.Meanwhile, in another pan cook macaroni in boiling, salted water until tender (approximately 5 minutes for the smaller sized macaroni). Set aside until almost ready to serve.
When bison and onions are finished cooking, add 1 1/2 cup water. Add garlic, pepper, and northern bonfire spice. Mix well. In a bowl mix 3TB water & corn starch then stir till thickened. Add to the bison mixing till the water turns a light brown.
Simmer for about 20 minutes; then add cooked macaroni noodles and mix well when ready to serve. If you add the macaroni noodles too soon, they may over cook and get mushy.
Add cheese & peas over toasted bread to make a full main course.
