I am being a bit of a naughty girl. I have not looked at my HTML class stuff today. I will tomorrow, but I just had so much going on with Clay, the mini, Networking class & 3tests I had to take for it. I just got over whelmed with everything.  I will do it. I just could not do it today after cramming two chapters into my hurting head. Its so many terms I have to know & keep straight I kinda feel like going cross eyed just thinking about it all. I stayed up till 5:30am last night trying to get it all done. I did not think I had to do the test, but I looked at the email my teacher sent out & it said they were due on he 24th. I did them & found out today that they were not due till his coming Mon. I felt like kicking myself. LOL!

On the bright side I am kinda a head of the game. I did half the home work for the week yesterday. I do have to work with my group to do a paper & a presentation, but I have to get the details first then work with the group to make the presentation. Not bad, I like the two other guys I am working with & I have class with one of them tomorrow so I can talk to him about it tomorrow. So all is good in my world.

For a stress release I made Sugar cookies with an orange frosting.

Ingredients

1.5 cups Powdered sugar

1 cup Unsalted butter room temperature

1 large Egg

2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

2.5 cups Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

0.5 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

Using electric mixer, beat sugar and butter in large bowl until light.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to combine.
Divide dough in half. Gather each piece into ball and flatten into disks. Wrap in plastic and chill 1 hour. (Great to have in the freezer when you have guest coming over.)
Preheat oven to 325.
Roll out 1 dough disk on floured work surface to 1/8 in. thickness. Using assorted cookie cutters, cut out cookies.
Transfer cookies to ungreased baking sheets, spacing 1 in. apart.
Bake cookies until pale golden, about 13 minutes.
Transfer cookies to rack; cool.
Repeat with remaining dough disk.
Ice and decorate to your taste.
Note: I like a very simple icing made of water,1c powdered sugar, 3TBorange juice, and 1TBorange exstract. Just mix & drizzle over cooled cookies.
